KINGS WARDROBE

Wardrobe Place Carter Lane London EC4V 5AG
King's Wardrobe has been completely redeveloped by Wardrobe Court Limited (a subsidiary company of Warnford Investments Limited) to provide a mix of 63 one and two bedroom apartments ranging in size from 525 sq ft to 1,100 sq ft and a 28 space underground car park.
Why the name?
The development derives its name from the 'Great Wardrobe' which occupied the site from 1361, when Edward III bought the property, until it was destroyed by the Great Fire of London in 1666. The term 'great wardrobe' referred to the vast quantities of royal regalia stored here.
Tranquility
Set on three sides of a secluded, leafy courtyard less than 100 metres from St Paul's Cathedral and within the Ludgate Hill Conservation Area, King's Wardrobe provides one of the best residential environments in the City.
The new buildings have been sensitively designed to re-create the external appearance of the Georgian and Victorian buildings that once stood there, while providing elegant, contemporary interiors.
Contact
All the 63 apartments and car parking spaces are leased to and managed by BridgeStreet Accommodations to whom all enquiries should be addressed.
